Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, November 17th, we are changing our service model from full-service to an enhanced quick-service model. Because of the recent surge in COVID-19 cases, we are encouraging guests to order Curbside or Takeout.
We will however allow guests to sit in the dining room but we are not offering table service. Guests will order at the counter and we will call your name when your food is ready. To expedite our guest's time in the cafe, we have developed a menu that is easy to execute while providing the made-from-scratch food you have come to expect from us.
For the safety of everyone, we kindly ask that you wear a mask before you receive your food and after your done eating if you choose to hang out. There are sanitizing stations by both entrance/exit doors and by the restrooms. Please use them when you come in and before you leave. As per the current order from the Governor, please stay in your seat unless you're getting your food from the counter or using the restroom.
We will not allow anyone in the café without a mask. Please, if you don't feel well, stay home.
We know all the changes that have occurred here at the café over the past 8 months have been an uninvited rollercoaster ride. Let it be known that it has been for the safety of the public as a whole, our employee, and our family. We appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support.

I love to cook, whether it be at home with family or here in the café cooking for customers.
I started my cooking career in a quaint French restaurant in the wine country of California back in the mid-'80s. The chef/owner was classically trained and his standards were high. Everything was made from raw ingredients and the food was amazing. I adopted those standards and have carried them with me ever since.
We easily could take shortcuts to save money and time, but then, our food wouldn't be what it is. From our soups to our salad dressings, everything is made in house with fresh ingredients. We're sure that when you taste our food, you'll taste the difference.
We love to bake, but we really love to bake bread. All our sourdough bread is made over a 24 hour period, allowing nature to take its course to produce a
flavorful bread with incredible crust and airy crumb. Use it for toast, sandwiches, or you can do like I do, and just eat the whole loaf on the way home!
